Gustav Klimt was an outstanding Viennese artist, the leader of the avant-garde movement, whose name is inextricably linked with the Art Nouveau style. The main features by which Klimt's hand is recognized are mosaicism, gold and the image of a woman, in whom he found an incredible mystery. For many years his main muse was none other than Emilie Flöge. She was the owner of the Flöge Sisters fashion salon. Flöge's designs were called "reformation dresses" and brought a spirit of freedom, demonstrating a new idea of beauty in clothing. Klimt contributed to the promotion of Emilie's business: he would strongly recommend his friend's salon to his clients. Many of the women from the artist's portraits were dressed by the Flöge sisters and even posed for Klimt in Emilie's gowns. The painting is currently in the Wien Museum. The coin will make an extraordinary gift for art lovers.
