Pivdenny Bank rents deposit boxes to corporations and individuals from one day to one year. You can store money, valuables, securities, electronic media, educational certificates, deeds of title, business documentation, art works, family relics, decorations, personal and business correspondence and many other items. Please, note that the law prohibits storage of highly inflammable, toxic, radioactive, narcotic and other substances in deposit boxes that may have an adverse impact on human health and the environment, as well as firearms and property forfeited from free circulation.

 

To rent a safe you need to:

  • Visit the Head Office or a branch equipped with deposit boxes;
  • conclude the rental agreement, an individual should present passport or another ID and personal taxpayer card; a legal entity should present notarised copies of its constituent documents;
  • apply to open an account using electronic payment means (for individuals);
  • sign the safe rental agreement;
  • pay the rental fee, a deposit for the key and a fee (for individuals) to register the card to the account;
  • collect the key or set of keys for the lock.

Payment for services

The rent is calculated based on the rates established by the bank and approved for the whole rental period in both cash and cashless form. We have designed a convenient system of rates that:

  • are differentiated depending on the size of the safe;
  • are decreased if the rental period is increased;
  • make it possible to rent a safe for a convenient period for you - from 10 day to 1 year.

Warning about possible consequences for clients connected to lease of safe deposit boxes

The bank shall make any amendments to the Safe Deposit Box Lease Agreement only in coordination with the client (party to the Agreement), unless otherwise provided by the Agreement or Ukrainian law.

According to Art. 971 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, the bank shall not be responsible for the contents of the safe deposit box, but only guarantees the proper condition (serviceability) of the box and the lack of access of third parties to it.

For use of the safe deposit box beyond the term specified in the Lease Agreement, subject to clause 4.13. of the Supplement Agreement, the bank charges a daily fee for the period of additional use of the safe deposit box, taking into account the day of payment, in accordance with the bank's approved fees, effective on the day of payment.

If the client loses the key(s) or opens the safe deposit box (if the client fails to fulfil the contractual obligations), the client will reimburses the bank for costs related to opening the safe deposit box, making new keys and installing a new lock.

In case of termination of the Agreement at the initiative of the client before its expiration, the bank will not return the remaining funds for the period the safe deposit box was not used.

The bank is prohibited from requiring the client to purchase any goods or services from the bank or persons related to it as a mandatory condition for the provision of these services (except for the provision of a package of banking services).

The bank shall not have the right to amend the agreements concluded with clients unilaterally, unless otherwise provided by the agreement or the law.

The client can refuse to receive advertising materials by contacting the Client Support Centre at 0 800 30 70 30 (free of charge in Ukraine).

The list of substances, materials and objects which are prohibited from storage in safe deposit boxes:

  • weapons, ammunition, explosives, gunpowder, any fuel, as well as special materials and special equipment for their manufacture;
  • chemical warfare agents;
  • uranium, other fissile materials and articles thereof;
  • X-ray equipment, devices and equipment using radioactive substances and isotopes, as well as the radioactive substances themselves;
  • experimental samples of scientific studies, as well as fundamental research for the development of weapons and military equipment;
  • poisons and drugs;
  • ethyl alcohol and other flammable liquids;
  • waste explosives;
  • perishable food, materials and substances;
