Pivdenny Bank is a participant in the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine (certificate No. 016 dated 16.10.2012).
From 1 January 2017, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine reimburses funds on deposits of self-employed clients irrespective of the day of account opening.
We draw our clients’ attention to the fact that, in compliance with Law of Ukraine No. 71-VІІІ "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and certain laws of Ukraine as regards tax reform" dated 28 December 2014, from 01.01.2017, the income received by self-employed clients in the form of interest earned on deposit (current, card) accounts is subject to the personal income tax and military tax under applicable statutory rates.
Furthermore, we draw your attention to the fact that the principal of the deposit (placed according to the deposit agreement) is not taxable.
