We draw our clients’ attention to the fact that, in compliance with Law of Ukraine No. 71-VІІІ «On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and certain laws of Ukraine as regards tax reform» dated 28 December 2014, from 01.01.2017, the income received by self-employed clients in the form of interest earned on deposit (current, card) accounts is subject to the personal income tax and military tax under applicable statutory rates.
Furthermore, we draw your attention to the fact that the principal of the deposit (placed according to the deposit agreement) is not taxable.
