The most powerful deity of Egypt appeared before the people in the form of a falcon. It is believed that this bird is able to look at the sun without blinking its eyes. According to ancient beliefs, only the gods could look at their own kind that way. A falcon is a noble hunting bird, a symbol of the sun and light, victory and advantage, protection and freedom. The fearless bird of prey was often compared to the glorious lone warrior, manifesting such qualities as courage, chivalry, bravery, strength, dexterity, and intelligence. The falcon is a solar symbol of victory, an emblem of the rising sun. The Slavs considered this bird a symbol of strength and courage.
