The commemorative coin is dedicated to a prominent figure of the 20th century European avant-garde – a Ukrainian cubo-futurist artist, teacher,
and one of the founders of the Art Deco style. This commemorative coin introduces the theme of the avant-garde, honoring the contribution of
Oleksandra Ekster and Ukrainian artists who were distinguished by bold creative experiments and contributed to the establishment of Ukrainian
art in the context of world culture.
