Apple Pay becomes available to Mastercard holders from Pivdenny Bank-Банк Пивденный

Easy, secure and personalized payment tool

Starting March 19, 2019, holders of Masterсard cards issued by Pivdenny Bank have the opportunity to use Apple Pay, an easy, secure and personalized payment tool that completely changes mobile payments, offering speed and convenience.

Security and privacy are the core of Apple Pay. When you add a credit or debit card to Apple Pay, the card number itself is not stored on the device or on Apple servers. Instead, a unique device account number is assigned, which is encrypted and stored securely in the Secure Element chip of your device. Each transaction is authorized thanks to a unique one-time security code that is generated dynamically.

Apple Pay is easy to set up: customers can add a credit or debit card through the Wallet app. In stores, you can pay using Apple Pay with the iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later, as well as with the Apple Watch.

Apple Pay makes it very easy to make purchases in applications and on websites with one touch of your finger to the Touch ID or double-click the side button and look at the iPhone X to confirm the transaction through Face ID. Now there is no longer any need to manually fill out long registration forms with contact details or re-enter delivery and billing data. When paying for purchases in applications or in Safari, Apple Pay works on iPhone 6 and newer models, on iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and newer models. You can also use Apple Pay in Safari on any Mac no older than 2012 with macOS Sierra installed on your computer, confirming the payment from your iPhone 6 or newer, or directly from Apple Watch, as well as by tapping your finger on Touch ID on the new MacBook Pro.
