Pivdenny Bank received an award in the Focus on Digital category from Mastercard

Pivdenny Joint-Stock Bank received an award in the Focus on Digital category from the Mastercard payment system.

The award was the result of efforts to popularise payments among the bank's clients using tokens (analogues to the client's payment card number, which is stored in the memory of a smartphone/watch/tablet) and the activities that the bank implements for clients.

Pivdenny Bank was one of the first Ukrainian banks to be certified in the international payment system to enable payments with digital wallets.

“This award is valuable because the bank in its activities has always strived to make available to its clients all the trends that appear on the Ukrainian market, and, recently, almost all of them are about digital. We do not just implement them; we popularise them among our clients. And we are pleased that Mastercard also recognises this,” shared Olga Kolomiets, Head of the Product Development Division of the Retail Business Department at Pivdenny Bank.

We would like to remind readers that compared to 2018, in 2019 the number of tokenised transactions with Pivdenny Bank cards increased 21.5 times. And compared to the first quarter of last year, the current increase was 55.9 %.
