Access services from Pivdenny Bank using e-documents from the Diia app

From 20 August 2021, you can access all services at Pivdenny Joint Stock Bank using e-documents from the Diia app.

The electronic passport (e-passport) downloaded to the Diia app can now be used in bank branches instead of a Ukrainian ID-card/biometric travel passport.

You just need to follow the steps below:

1. Open your passport in the Diia app.
2. Click on it to see the QR/barcode on the reverse side.
3. Show the barcode to the bank employee to make a request.
4. Confirm the bank’s request to send a copy of the e-document.
5. The app will create a digital copy of the passport with an affixed e-signature and send it to the bank system.

Using e-documents reduces servicing time. Customers who have an e-passport downloaded to the Diia app do not need to present paper documents to confirm their identity.

About 70 types of government services are available through the portal. The updated mobile app provides access to 9 personal e-documents and 12 services.

You may access the following e-documents via the app: an ID-card and biometric travel passport, a student ID, a driver’s licence, a vehicle registration certificate, motor insurance, a taxpayer identification number (RNOKPP), a birth certificate or certificate of an internally displaced person (IDP). Of particular note is the Diia breakthrough technology, allowing you to use the most secure electronic signature to sign the document in your smartphone.
