Pivdenny Bank is recognised as a systemically important bank of Ukraine for the eighth consecutive year-Банк Пивденный

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has reaffirmed Pivdenny Bank’s status as a systemically important bank for the eighth consecutive year. The decision was made following the annual review of bank’s performance and approved by the NBU Board on 11 June 2026.

A total of 16 institutions were included in the list of systemically important banks for 2026.

The status of systemically important bank reflects the Bank’s significance to the stability of Ukraine’s financial system, its financial soundness, and ability to ensure uninterrupted customer service even under challenging conditions.

The Bank’s financial resilience was further confirmed by the results of the 2025 resilience assessment conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine. According to the assessment, Pivdenny Bank maintains a sufficient level of capital and is not required to implement a capital restoration programme.

For the 2025 financial year, Pivdenny Bank reported a net profit of UAH 2.94 billion, representing an increase of more than 16% compared with the previous year. The Bank continues to maintain strong operational efficiency while developing its core business areas.
