Pivdennyi Bank to lend to exporters under the ECA Lending Programme

07.07.2023

Pivdennyi Bank has become an ECA partner in facilitation of the Exporter Support Programmes by signing a correspondent treaty with ECA on 03 July 2023.

The Treaty between Pivdennyi Bank and ECA will create more opportunities for new banking products aimed at support of businesses involved in non-commodity exports.

The Bank will offer loans with simplified collateral requirements to exporters to be able to perform their export contracts. Moreover, by combining this programme with Affordable Loans 5-7-9% Programme, exporters will be able to enjoy low interest loans.

The Exporter Support Programme was introduced by the Ministry of Economics in June 2022. Since its introduction one year ago, Ukrainian banks have granted UAH 670.5 mln worth of loans to various businesses in collaboration with ECA, meaning they expect UAH 4.63 bln in prospective export earnings.

The Export Credit Agency PrJSC was founded in 2018 and its sole shareholder is the state represented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Its legislatively defined objective is encouraging a massive global market expansion of goods, works and services of Ukrainian origin.
