Pivdenny Bank provided bank guarantees for the reconstruction of power transmission line between Ukraine and Poland

Pivdenny Joint-Stock  Bank provided bank guarantees for the implementation of the project of reconstruction of the power transmission line between Ukraine and Poland, which has not been in operation since the 90s.

The restored line with a length of 395 km, of which 281 km passes in Ukraine and 114 km in Poland, started working in May 2023. The maximum possible power transmission is 1,300 MW. Bringing it into operation will help to significantly increase the opportunities for export and import of electricity and will increase the energy security of the EU and Ukraine within the European Energy Union (ENTSO-E), the member of which Ukraine has become since March 2022.

For the implementation of the project, Pivdenny Bank provided bank guarantees to Soyuz Production and Commercial Enterprises Corporation for the fulfillment of contractual obligations and guarantees for the return of the advance payment.
