Pivdenny Bank Ranks Third in the DGB Primary Dealer Rating

Pivdenny Bank has secured third place in the 2024 rating of primary dealers for domestic government bonds (DGBs), according to data from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

This achievement reflects a significant increase in the volume of transactions on both the primary and secondary markets for DGB purchases and sales, as well as the bank's role as a market maker.

In Ukraine, there are only 11 primary dealers for DGBs, and Pivdenny has been part of this group for nearly seven years. Primary dealers are banks that collaborate with the Ministry of Finance to help develop the government securities market. In return, they enjoy the exclusive right to participate in the initial sale of government bonds and receive priority in other related transactions.
