Pivdenny Bank exchanges currencies in accordance with the updated requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine

Pivdenny Bank branches purchase and sell foreign currency to the public in accordance with the updated requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine regarding foreign exchange transactions adopted on June 20, 2023.

All foreign currency banknotes, except for those that are significantly worn or damaged, are subject to foreign exchange transactions. All foreign currency banknotes whose authenticity is confirmed using counters and detectors are accepted for exchange.

Foreign currency banknotes that have acquired signs of significant wear or damage during circulation include

• torn (cut) into pieces;
• with damaged design and security elements (removed digital or textual denomination designations, portrait images, optically variable security elements, security tapes);
• with the original colour of the paper and/or images changed;
• with localized contamination (stains), including those visible in ultraviolet rays, the total area of which exceeds half the banknote area;
• with general contaminants, including those that cause luminescence of the paper in ultraviolet rays;
• burnt, scorched, rotten (damaged due to prolonged exposure to moisture, various liquids, chemicals, or signs of decay);
• have obvious printing defects.
