Fraud warning

The National Bank of Ukraine has issued a warning about another fraudulent scheme employed to illicitly skim money off bank customers, purported as charity donations.

The NBU has discovered fraudulent emails, in which the NBU allegedly asked Ukrainians to make donations in a cryptocurrency to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The National Bank of Ukraine:

• does not send bulk emails to Ukrainians;
• does not raise charity funds into crypto wallets.

If you receive an email like that, delete it.
