Contactless payment service Garmin Pay is now available to Pivdenny Bank clients
Pivdenny Bank has connected the contactless payment service in a Garmin Pay digital wallet for Visa cardholders.
Garmin Pay is a contactless way to pay for goods and services through a terminal in a store using a Garmin sports watch with the NFC function*. This service is designed specifically for active people who have a healthy lifestyle and for whom it is important to save time and do everything as convenient as possible.
“Garmin Pay is useful for people who regularly do sports. Agree that it is not very convenient to carry a wallet with you, for example, to buy a bottle of water during your morning jog. To solve this problem will help watch with the function of NFC. Using this gadget, you can easily and safely pay for a cup of coffee on the way to work or pay for travel on the subway”, – commented Artem Semeynov, director of the retail business department at Pivdenny Bank.
In addition to the ability to pay for purchases without contact, Garmin watches have the function of measuring the pulse, help plan and track workouts, can exchange data with a smartphone via Bluetooth, and offer many other interesting options depending on the model.
To make a payment, you must first download the Garmin Connect application from Google Play or the App Store, select your watch in the Garmin Devices section, connect the Pivdenny Bank's Visa card in accordance with the application's instructions, and then synchronize the smartphone with the watch and make one-touch payment at the store.
*Currently, there are several Garmin sports watches on the Ukrainian market with support for the Garmin Pay service. These are the Vivoactive 3 and Vivoactive 3 Music, Forerunner 645 and Forerunner 645 Music, Fenix 5 Plus. Model range may vary.
