The second stage of the Pivdenny Set took place in Kharkiv

The second qualifying adaptive tennis tournament was held in Kharkiv as part of the Pivdenny Set project. The project is being implemented by Pivdenny Bank in partnership with the U+ System Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Centre and NGO Free Warriors.

This stage continued the large-scale initiative aimed at the physical and social rehabilitation of veterans through sports. Once again, the court was filled with support, team spirit, and true sporting competition.

The participants competed in doubles matches, demonstrating endurance, concentration, and incredible motivation. For many, this was more than just a tournament – it was an opportunity to return to an active life, feel part of a community, and discover new opportunities for personal growth.

We are delighted to congratulate the winners of the Kharkiv tournament:

1st place: Dmytro Sumin and Yurii Korsunov
2nd place: Andrii Batulin and Oleksii Nestorov

They will now have the opportunity to continue competing in the grand final in Odesa. The next qualifying tournaments in Odesa and Lviv are ahead, followed by the Pivdenny Set final, where the strongest participants of the series will meet.
