Taking Responsibility for Reputation – a Must in Today’s World

On September 24, the second workshop within the course “Managerial Thinking: Modern Approaches and Practices” was held for students of the Faculty of Economics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The speaker was Anton Andebura, Head of the Distressed Assets Management Division of the Legal Department at Pivdenny Bank.

During the session, the participants discussed:

• why it is important to understand how public and private registries, media, and information collection platforms operate;
• the role of AI in shaping public image;
• how a single legal case can turn a profitable business into an unprofitable one – and vice versa;
• common mistakes made by young professionals that may come at a high cost, and how to avoid them.

“Some students had already attended the previous workshop, but for most, this was their first session. Everyone was actively involved in the discussion, asking questions and sharing their thoughts,” the lecturer noted.

As always, students received a homework assignment, after which they will have an opportunity to get feedback on their presentations. The best works will be reviewed at a seminar featuring several additional practical cases.

“The second workshop brought not only greater confidence but also true enjoyment from engaging with the audience,” Anton Andebura summarized.
