Smartphone cash withdrawals: Pivdenny Bank ATMs are equipped with NFC technology
Pivdenny Joint-Stock Bank ATMs have been supplemented with a new functionality – NFC contactless data transfer technology. This contactless technology allows clients to withdraw cash even without a card – using only a smartphone or smart watch.
The first Pivdenny Bank NFC-ATM was opened at the main bank in Odesa on 6/1 Krasnova Str.
How can tell if an ATM has this new functionality?
NFC-ATMs are marked with the contactless payment symbol and have a modern touch screen, which allows clients to select the required operations more conveniently.
To use this type of ATM, simply hold your smartphone or smart watch with a tokenised payment card (Apple Pay, Google Pay services) or a card with contactless payment technology (Visa payWave, Mastercard Contactless) over the area with this symbol and enter your PIN code. That’s it. Now you can perform the necessary operation.
Operations available to Pivdenny Bank cardholders with contactless payment technology:
- cash withdrawals;
- account balance review;
- transfer to a Pivdenny Bank card;
- connection of SMS-notification service;
- 3D-Secure service connection;
- obtaining a mini statement.
Owners of smartphones and smart watches with tokenised Pivdenny Bank payment cards can receive cash and view their account balance from contactless ATMs.
The same operations are available to holders of contactless cards or NFC-devices from other banks.
