Extension of card validity period
For the convenience of clients, the bank extends the validity period of the cards, which ends from February 2022 (inclusive) and later.

As for online transactions, including P2P, payments on POS terminals and cash withdrawals at ATMs of other banks – transactions will be successful if the acquiring banks accept extended cards, i.e. it is necessary to try to make payment.
Visa card holders
Extended cards can be used by making contactless payments: by card, mobile device or withdrawing cash at a contactless ATM (equipped with NFC) using a mobile device, if the cards are added to Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets. Do not use extended Visa cards with a chip by inserting the card directly into the device.
We also offer our clients the following alternative actions:
- urgently check the expiration date of your card and add it to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet;
- after the expiration date of your card, reissue the card remotely and activate it by contacting the Customer Support Center of Pivdenny Bank or in the web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking;
A card added to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet will automatically remain valid after activating the reissued card if it was added to the wallet before the expiration date of your card.
Attention! To automatically extend the validity period of your card in Apple Pay or Google Pay, the card must be reissued provided that the card class and payment system are preserved!
It is currently not possible to add an expired card to your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet.
Reissue a card
You can get your Pivdenny Bank card reissued:
- at one of the bank’s branches by submitting documents according to the list;
- by contacting the Customer Support Center;
- for the bank's clients – remotely, using the web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking.
How to reissue a card in the web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking:
- Log in to your personal account at the link:: https://my.bank.com.ua/(enter your login and password);
- In the main menu, select the "Order services" section, click on "Create request" and select: Product/service – "Accounts" and Details – "PC reissue".
- In the generated request, you need to check the information as well as select from the drop-down lists the card number, the reason for reissuance and the desired address of the bank’s branch to which the card will be sent.
- Click on the "Sign (SMS)" button, enter the code and check the status of your request within two days.
- When your card is delivered to the bank’s branch, a message will be sent to the financial number. As for the possibility of adding cards to e-wallets and payments with Apple Payor Google Pay – see above.
Issue a new card
You can open an account and get a payment card of Pivdenny Bank issued:
- at one of the bank’s branches by submitting documents according to the list;
- for the bank's clients – remotely, using the web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking.
How to issue a card in the web version Pivdenny MyBank:
- Log in to your personal account at https://my.bank.com.ua/(enter your login and password);
- In the main menu, select the "Order services" section, click on "Create request" and select: Product/service – "Accounts" and Details – (select the account you need to open):
- opening a current account of an IT professional with the issuance of a PC;
- opening a current account "For own needs" with the issuance of a PC;
- opening a current account of a seafarer with the issuance of a PC;
- opening a "Pension" current account with the issuance of a PC;
- opening a "Social" current account with the issuance of a PC.

- In the generated request, you need to check the information as well as select from the drop-down lists the account currency, additional information and the desired address of the bank’s branch to which the card will be sent.
- Click on the "Sign (SMS)" button, enter the code and check the status of your request within two days.
- When your card is delivered to the bank’s branch, a message will be sent to the financial number.
Additional card
You can get an additional card to the current account issued using a payment card:
- at one of the bank’s branches by submitting documents according to the list;
- remotely, using the web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking.
How to issue an additional card in the web version of Pivdenny MyBank:
- Log in to your personal account at the link: https://my.bank.com.ua/(enter your login and password);
- In the main menu, select the "Order services" section, click on "Create request" and select: Product/service – "Payment cards" and Details – "Issue an additional PC"
- In the generated request, you need to check the information as well as select from the drop-down lists the account number, card class, mobile phone number to subscribe to the Mobi-Card service and the desired address of the bank’s branch to which the card will be sent. If you need the additional card to be issued in the name of a person other than the account holder, fill in the details of the additional holder.
- Click on the "Sign (SMS)" button, enter the code and check the status of your request within two days.
- When your card is delivered to the bank’s branch, a message will be sent to the financial number. A card with the documents according to the listshould be received by the cardholder in whose name the additional card was issued, except for children aged 6 to 14, whose card should be received by the account holder, provided that the relevant identification documents, namely his/her and the child's ones are submitted.
Card activation
You can activate your issued payment cards:
- at one of the bank’s branches;
- at a bank’s ATM;
- at the bank’s self-service kiosk;
- on a payment terminal of a bank’s branch;
- contacting the Customer Support Center of the bank;
- remotely, using the mobile or web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking.
How to activate a card in the mobile version of Pivdenny MyBank:
- Log in to your personal account of the mobile application.
- In the messages section, send a request via the "Create message" option, where you must specify which card you want to activate.
- After receiving the answer, check the status of your request.
How to activate a card in the web version of Pivdenny MyBank:
- Log in to your personal account at the link: https://my.bank.com.ua/(enter your login and password).
- In the main menu, select the "Order services" section, click on "Create request" and select: Product/service – "Payment cards" and Details – "Issue an additional PC"
- In the generated request, you need to check the information as well as select from the drop-down lists the number of the card you need to activate.
- Click on the "Sign (SMS)" button, enter the code and check the status of your request within two days.
Receive your card
You can get an issued payment card at the branch you chose during the registration. When the card is delivered to the bank’s branch, a message will be sent to your financial number.
If you are temporarily unable to get a card, your trustee may get it on the basis of a notarized power of attorney.
Add your card to Apple Pay/Google Pay and make payments
- The general procedure for adding payment cards to Apple Pay and Google Pay services has not changed and is described in these sections: Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- An expired card cannot be added to your Apple Pay/Google Pay wallet. Such settings are applied by Apple and Google and are beyond the influence of the bank. However, if the expired card continues to work ("Payment cards" section, "Renew" item), the token that was created before the expiration date of the payment card will also continue to make those transactions, which the payment card with an extended validity period can make.
- For all clients whose cards expire in the next few months, we recommend that you add the card to your Apple Pay/Google Pay wallet before the card expires. If the payment card is reissued, all tokens issued to the expired card will be automatically linked by the bank to the new payment card. Thus, you will be able to:
- activate a new payment card;
- set a PIN code for a new card in Pivdenny MyBank online or mobile banking
- make all contactless transactions using a digital card in Apple Pay/Google Pay wallets even without the physical presence of a payment card, namely: shopping in stores, cash withdrawals at contactless ATMs, purchases in online stores that accept Apple Pay/Google Pay as payment. Please keep in mind that in accordance with the rules of payment systems, in the case of reissuance of a card for a new term, tokens created to the previous payment card will be successfully linked to the new payment card only when the payment card type and international payment system of the old and new cards will be completely the same (i.e. Mastercard World must be reissued to Mastercard World, Visa Platinum to Visa Platinum, etc.).
If your payment card has already expired and you did not have valid digital cards in Apple Pay at the time of its expiration, you can add your new payment card to your Apple Wallet directly in the Pivdenny MyBank mobile application. To do this, you need first activate a new payment card. You do not need to know CVV2/CVC2 of a new card to add a card to Apple Wallet in this way, which means do not need to have it physically. The card will be able to make all possible transactions using the Apple Pay wallet.
Set or change your PIN code
You can set a new PIN code to your card:
- using a payment terminal at any of the bank’s branches;
- remotely, using the mobile or web version of Pivdenny MyBank online banking.
How to set a new PIN code using Pivdenny MyBank:
- Log in to your personal account of the mobile application or personal account at the link: https://my.bank.com.ua/(enter your login and password).
- Select the required card in the "Card accounts" section.
- Click on the "Set PIN code" button.
- Enter a new PIN code, re-enter it and confirm by signing the SMS.
- The first transaction for a card with a chip after setting your PIN code should be the transaction performed with the entering of a new PIN code at an ATM or payment terminal at a bank’s branch (checking your card account balance or cash withdrawal).
To do this, you do not need to remember a current PIN code. Just set a new one!
You can also change the old PIN code to the card to a new one also at an ATM. To do this, you need to remember the current PIN code.
