‘Pivdenny’ Bank will change the procedure for authenticating online payment transactions for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities

Starting 12 August 2024, ‘Pivdenny’ Bank will introduce changes to the procedure for authenticating online payment transactions for individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. The changes are due to the Resolution ‘On Approval of the Regulation on Authentication and Application of Enhanced Authentication in the Payment Market’ approved by the Management Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 58.

Authentication will take place according to the following procedure:

• the customer enters payment card details to pay for goods/services and is redirected to the authentication page;
• enters the first authentication factor – the date of the agreement with the Bank in the format that will be displayed on the screen;
• enters the second authentication factor – the OTP code sent by the Bank.
