Pivdenny Bank allocated UAH 250,000 for the sports rehabilitation of veterans in Odesa

Pivdenny Bank allocated 250 thousand hryvnias to support the sports rehabilitation of veterans as part of the development of the Superhumans center in Odesa. The donation was handed over on April 26 during III SEASIDE MARATHON ODESA, where the bank acted as an official partner of the Veteran's Path distance.
This initiative focuses on supporting a field that helps veterans return to an active lifestyle through physical activity, teamwork, and community engagement. Such projects are a vital part of the broader process of post-service reintegration and adaptation to civilian life.
Supporting veteran sports initiatives is a systematic priority for the bank. Last fall, Pivdenny Bank partnered in a charity half-marathon, supporting the Veteran’s Path and Wheelchair Race distances. Around 50 veterans and defenders participated in that event.
"We support solutions that enable veterans to remain active and find a new foundation for their lives. For a business operating in Ukraine, this is not a matter of image, but a matter of responsibility—to invest in the environment and the people with whom you are building the future,” Olena Franko, Head of Sales and Premium Business at Pivdenny Bank, says.
Supporting veterans is one of the key pillars of the bank’s corporate social responsibility. Upon returning from war, people face not only physical but also social challenges. Therefore, it is crucial to create opportunities for their participation in community life, the restoration of familiar roles, and inner balance.
Partnering for the Veteran’s Path distance within the marathon was a continuation of the bank’s systematic efforts in this area and a way to support the development of a barrier-free environment in Odesa.
