Pivdenny Bank donates over UAH 3 million to combat coronavirus

In difficult times, it is important to join forces and overcome difficulties together. When society needs support, business cannot stand by and watch. Pivdenny Joint-Stock Bank has donated over UAH 3 million to combat the novel coronavirus in the Odesa region.

UAH 1.63 million for the installation of an oxygen station.
Pivdenny Bank paid for the installation of a medical oxygen station at the Danube Regional Hospital in Izmail, Odesa region. Thanks to the operation of the station, the number of patients able to receive medical care at one time will increase from 12 to 150. The oxygen station will be able to serve three hospitals in the city.

UAH 500,000 for artificial lung ventilation apparatus.
For one hospitals in Odesa, the bank purchased prisma VENT50-C artificial lung ventilation apparatus worth more than UAH 500,000. This apparatus will help deliver humidified oxygen in combination with compressed air to patients at a speed of 5 to 60 litres per minute.

UAH 500,000 for food kits.
Pivdenny Bank has donated UAH 500,000 for food kits for people over 80 years in the Odesa region. The COVID Anti-Crisis Operations Headquarters for the Odesa region Odesa vs COVID” has already formed groups of volunteers to deliver these kits to the elderly.
