Business will be able to repatriate dividends of up to 12 million Euros per month
To the attention of corporate clients!
As part of currency liberalization, the National Bank of Ukraine increased the limit on the repatriation of dividends from 7 to 12 million Euros per month. The relevant changes were approved by the NBU Board Resolution No. 66 dated May 7, 2019 “On Amending the Regulation on Protection Measures and Determining the Procedure for Performing Certain Transactions in Foreign Currency”, which entered into force on May 8, 2019.
According to the regulator, given the relaxation of the investment in Ukraine, Ukraine doesn’t tolerate the negative impact on macro-financial stability. Taking into the account, the conducive macroeconomic environment, facilitating repatriation of dividends is the priority in the road map for capital-account liberalization. The introduction of the new rules depends, first of all, on the improving of the market’s macroeconomic situation.
