Pivdenny Bank Joined the Second Charity INDEPENDENCE HALF-MARATHON by Seaside Runners!

Our colleagues ran in all available distances: 1, 5, 10 and 21 km. The route stretched through the picturesque streets of the historical center of Odesa and was well balanced: the uphill sections were short, and the downhills allowed runners to regain strength and pick up speed.

The support along the route was incredible: runners were actively encouraged by volunteers, spectators, and musicians – a special respect to a drummer near the Opera House who energized everyone passing by. Participants gained medals featuring iconic landmarks of Odesa.

We also have a reason to be proud: a runner from Pivdenny took third place in the 5 km distance in her age category and received a tasty prize from the event partners.

This was a large-scale international sporting event, with runners participating from different parts of Ukraine as well as Poland, Germany, France, and Moldova. Some were running for the first time, some set new personal records, but everyone shared the same inspiration and the sense of contributing to a meaningful cause.
