Coin Store Launched on Pivdenny Bank’s Website

The website of Pivdenny Joint-Stock Bank has been updated to include an online store where customers can buy foreign coins.

As of 16 November 2021, coins can be purchased on the bank’s website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Customers can purchase coins from the mints of Poland and New Zealand, as well as Mayer Mint.

To formalise a purchase transaction, visit the “Coins and Metals” section to select a coin, enter your contact details and preferred delivery method, e.g. pick-up at the Nova Poshta branch or 6/1, Krasnova St., Odessa, or via courier. Only non-cash payments are accepted.

“We created the coin store for the convenience of the bank’s customers. Previously, our site offered only a coin catalogue, which the client could use to select items and request delivery to one of the branches. However, due to the fact that Pivdenny Bank branches are not operating in every city in Ukraine, not all interested clients could purchase coins. Moreover, for technical reasons, delivery could take up to two weeks. Today, an official online store has been launched to complement the catalogue, simplifying the process of buying coins and making this option available to customers in any location within the country,” says Olga Gavrilova, Head of the Banking Metals and Numismatic Products Department at Pivdenny Bank.

Today, the store offers over 120 silver coins for online purchase. Each description contains all the relevant information, including the name, topic and main characteristics of the coin (country and year of issue, type of metal, fineness, additional elements/inserts, packaging, capsule, and certificate).

“At the moment, we are only offering coins from foreign mints. There are souvenir coins featuring a tiger – the symbol of the coming year. So if you were thinking about a gift to surprise your family or friends on the eve of New Year’s, you can do this by purchasing a coin on the website. The assortment will be updated as soon as the mints issue new coins,” says Olga Gavrilova.

As a reminder, Pivdenny Bank is an official distributor of the mints of Poland, Austria, New Zealand and Mayer Mint. While browsing the site, you can select coins made of precious metals, coins with inserts, coin-pendants, keyrings, and talismans. Each coin is sold in a gift box and its authenticity is attested by a certificate.
