"Pivdenny" offers a new product - bank guarantees to secure customs payments

"Pivdenny" Bank received the status of a guarantor of the fulfilment of legal entities' obligations to customs authorities and offers a new product for business clients – a bank guarantee to ensure customs payments.

According to the Customs Code of Ukraine, the importation or transit of goods through the territory of Ukraine requires the provision of customs security for the payment of customs duties. The most convenient payment method is a warranty, i.e. a product aimed at supporting foreign economic activity. It allows companies to avoid using their own working capital to pay customs duties. In addition, a bank guarantee speeds up the customs clearance process.

The bank guarantee to secure customs payments will be a useful financial instrument for any Ukrainian company that imports or exports products. Goods and equipment that are in a certain customs regime (import, transit, re-export/re-import, temporary import/export, etc.) are subject to the guarantee.
