Oxygen station installed in Izmail for three hospitals in the Odesa region

13.05.2020

On 13 May, the oxygen station at the Danube Regional Hospital was inaugurated in Izmail.

The oxygen station generates oxygen "fuel" for artificial lung ventilation apparatuses. It will serve all hospitals in the city: Danube Regional, Central City and Central District Hospitals.

Thanks to the operation of the station, up to 150 patients will be able to receive medical care at one time, 12 times more than before. Such medical equipment helps to keep patients stable so that they do not become critical. We are talking particularly about patients with COVID-19.

The oxygen station will still be useful after the pandemic of the novel coronavirus is overcome.

The delivery and installation of the oxygen station was funded by Pivdenny Bank. The cost of the project is UAH 1,630,000.
