Spring Semester at Academic Hub Pivdenny Kicks Off with ‘Corporate Culture’

What is corporate culture, what types and levels exist, and how do they manifest in world-renowned companies? Students of the Faculty of Economics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv explored these questions together with Yuliia Titurenko, HRD at Pivdenny Bank, during a workshop as part of the "Managerial Thinking: Modern Approaches and Practices" course at Academic Hub Pivdenny.
Yuliia introduced students to the corporate cultures of global companies and the working environment at Pivdenny Bank, including its traditions and employee support initiatives. She also shared tips for job interviews and advice on climbing the career ladder to leadership positions.
"I was both impressed and inspired by the students’ genuine interest in corporate culture. The workshop was 70% interactive, filled with assignments and discussions, and I was delighted to see students not only knowing the answers to most questions but also articulating their arguments confidently. This made the discussion both engaging and productive. Such interactions are truly motivating,” — shared Yuliia.
Academic Hub Pivdenny is a flagship corporate social responsibility project of Pivdenny Bank. Its mission is to support public higher economic education, offer students real business insights, and create conditions that encourage young professionals to stay and work in Ukraine. Since 2024, the "Managerial Thinking: Modern Approaches and Practices" course, developed by the bank’s executives, has been officially integrated as a credit-bearing subject at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
