Ukrainian banks, like all other businesses, are faced with unforeseen circumstances. Due to quarantine measures, there are interruptions in the supply of foreign cash currency to Ukraine. Usually, Ukrainian banks receive cash dollars and euros from European countries through air travel. After the termination of air travel and the closure of borders, the currency is being delivered to Ukraine at a delay.

We have decided to make all payments from foreign currency accounts in UAH without additional fees.

The National Bank, together with other banks, is looking for ways to overcome this situation. As soon as this situation changes, we will immediately resume dispensing cash in foreign currency.

How will cash applications that have not yet been processed by the bank be processed?

They will be processed in full, but in the UAH equivalent.

Can I withdraw currency using my card?

Yes. You can pay with a currency card without restriction in any shop and online. Together with the National Bank of Ukraine, it is advisable to give preference to non-cash payments during the quarantine period.
