MoneyGram International is one of the leaders in the global money transfer market. It has more than 357,000 access points, including retail networks, national postal services and financial institutions in more than 200 countries. The company was founded in 1940 in Minneapolis (USA).
MoneyGram is a perfect solution for migrant workers, who send money to their relatives; for tourists in case of emergencies; for students and their parents to pay for studies, accommodation, etc.
The MoneyGram network has more than 14,000 agents in Ukraine.
The system provides the following types of transfer:
- Remittance of funds outside Ukraine in EUR/USD.
- Pay-outs from abroad in EUR/USD.
- The transfer fee is only paid by the sender.
- Funds are available for pay-out within 10 minutes after remittance.
- You can send funds without opening a bank account or knowing the bank details.
- No need to specify the recipient’s address — he/she can visit any MoneyGram agent in the country of receipt.
The sender of the transfer must:
- Visit a Pivdenny Bank branch.
- Tell the manager your details (surname, name, address, phone number), the recipient's details (surname, name, country of transfer) and the amount of the transfer.
- Provide his/her passport.
- Pay the transfer fees.
- Advise the recipient of the transfer of the money transfer control number given to the sender by the bank employee.
The recipient of the transfer must:
- Visit a Pivdenny Bank branch.
- Tell the manager the sender's surname and name, your details, the country of transfer, amount of transfer, and money transfer control number.
- Provide his/her passport.
- Upon verification of the above details, the responsible officer pays out the transfer to the recipient.
