The Pivdenny Bank team became the most massive corporate club at SEASIDE MARATHON ODESA-Банк Пивденный

The Pivdenny Bank team joined III SEASIDE MARATHON ODESA and received an award as the largest corporate running club of the event. A total of 42 bank representatives - 31 adults and 11 children – participated.

Colleagues covered distances of 5 km and 10 km, while one participant dared to run the full marathon distance of 42.2 km. Children competed in their age categories over 100 m, 500 m, and 1 km distances—and for many of them, it was their first real race.

In addition to the team award, participants showed impressive personal results. Oleksandr Prysiazhniuk, Head of the Collateral Valuation Department, took second place in his age category (45-54) for the 5 km distance. In the 1 km race, two children of bank employees secured victories: Artem Tupalo took first place, and Artem Mytnyk took third.

The race followed a certified route around Victory Park. Throughout the course, participants were actively supported by volunteers and fans — this support literally “guided” them to the finish line, adding strength to every kilometer. All finishers received symbolic compass medals as a reminder of the experience.

“The feeling is incredible, even a little on the edge. I prepared for the race for about three weeks, and it became not just training, but a real internal process. It was a challenge – both physical and moral. I wanted to test myself, my limits, endurance and strength of spirit. I know for sure that I will not stop there – I will continue to move forward. For me, sport is not only about physical fitness. It is about unloading, resetting thoughts and the opportunity to look at many things differently,” Nikita Krapivnoi, a specialist in the Active Operations Accounting and Control Department at Pivdenny Bank, shared his impressions of overcoming the marathon distance.

Participation in such events is part of the Bank's Employee Wellbeing Program. It combines physical activity, emotional recovery, and opportunities for informal communication — helping not just to reset thoughts, but to experience the team in a new way.

Shared activities, especially sports events, form stronger bonds between colleagues, add positive emotions, and create a sense of unity — where it’s not just the result that matters, but the journey taken together.

SEASIDE MARATHON ODESA gathered over 750 participants from across Ukraine. For some, it was their first race; for others, a new personal challenge or an attempt to improve their time, but everyone was united by inspiration, support, and a sense of belonging to a common cause.

We are thanking the organizers for an event that combines sports, support for veterans, and true team spirit.
