In March 2026, Pivdenny Bank extended its cooperation with the Faculty of Economics at Shevchenko University by financing the purchase and installation of energy-saving equipment—a Deye hybrid inverter with a battery system. The total cost of the project is UAH 105,000.

Thanks to this equipment, an uninterrupted power supply and stable internet have been provided to the faculty’s key administrative units responsible for organizing the educational process, as well as local ‘Invincibility Zones’ for the academic staff and students. This ensures continuous communication with all participants in the learning process, timely educational administration, and stable access to resources even during potential power outages.

"We are grateful to Pivdenny for their continued support. This is another contribution to our autonomy and resilience during the war. Thanks to the bank, we already have a modern, energy-independent educational space equipped with interactive whiteboards, projectors, and internet access. Now, we will also have stable internet connectivity in various areas within the Faculty of Economics building itself, available to both teachers and students,” Anzhela Ihnatyuk, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, said expressing her gratitude for the assistance.

Pivdenny Bank systematically invests in the development of education and the support of young specialists. In addition to providing technical equipment, the bank established the Academic Hub Pivdenny project at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. As part of this project, the bank conducts a certified course titled ‘Management Thinking: Modern Approaches and Practices,’ featuring real-world case studies from major Ukrainian companies.

"We plan to continue developing educational formats, internships, and certified courses that provide students with applied knowledge and a realistic understanding of working in the banking sector. This year, we intend to increase the number of partner universities and expand the geographical reach of our educational programs,” Vitalii Hahauz, leader of the Academic Hub Pivdenny project at Pivdenny Bank, added.
